Found a new park nearby that's accessible from a winding staircase off the canal. It's full of wildflowers I can't name.
A friend made me a pair of earrings. They are big and bright and chunky and not at all my style, and I love them.
The cup of tea I had yesterday. First since December. My body's starting to get comfortable with caffeine again. It was fresh and black, out of a bag we'd bought in the Shambles district of York. Spiced with cloves and star anise. I drank it on the balcony and pretended it wasn't 30 degrees outside.
This short poem (story?) on Strange Horizons.
Working on UX projects at a reasonable pace, with forethought and calm discussions.
Meeting up with a new friend for a pint and a walk along a trail called hunger hills woods.
Resuming an embroidery project that I'd abandoned.
Playing songs like this on repeat.
The thunder. It rained for the first time today in a few weeks. Our reservoirs need it, but so did I.
A dachshund moved into my apartment complex. When he sits he throws his entire body down and looks up for a treat. I know his name but I can't remember his owner's.
My gollum succulent is still alive.
